By decree of the President of Uzbekistan, additional days off were defined and some days off were postponed in 2024. During the New Year celebration, Uzbek people will have a rest for four days. The document establishes the following additional days off (regardless of the type of working week):

March 22 – Friday;

April 11 - Thursday;

June 18—Tuesday;

September 3 – Tuesday;

December 31st - Tuesday.

For employees with a six-day work week:

January 2 - Tuesday;

March 23 – Saturday;

April 12 - Friday;

August 31 - Saturday;

December 30 - Monday.

For employees with a five-day work week, days off are moved in the following order:

from January 6 (Saturday) to January 2 (Tuesday);

from April 13 (Saturday) - to April 12 (Friday);

from December 14 (Saturday) to December 30 (Monday).​
