On November 27, 2023 at “Economics” Faculty of “TIIAME” National Research University, there was organized Free "Mock IELTS (paper-based)" exam for master students of university, the aim of which was to identify the knowledge, level of foreign language proficiency of test-takers, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of the acquired skills. At the mentioned exam 25 students took part.

The international exam was conducted by Guzal Eshchanova, the Associate Professor of “English language” Department, who organized the event  at a Faculty branch of “Professional Development Centre”, organized in cooperation with ‘TIIAME”National Research University and  British Council. The teacher of English Language” Department  Marguba Khudaygergenova, provided  assistance in organizing the international exam. Four language skills of students such as listening, reading, writing and speaking components were assessed as well. At the start of the event, it was emphasized to candidates that developing foreign language skills at present time will further strengthen a promising future.

At the beginning of the event, Guzal Eschanova announced the possibility of studying on a grant basis for 1 academic year or throughout the entire course of study in different study programs particularly for undergraduate and graduate degrees at  Óbuda University, Hunagy, which is considered as a close partner of the university, through the international competition “Hungarian Scholarship” and explained that participants are required to have a minimum B2 certificate (IELTS 6) for applying the competition. Among the students there were Komilov Shamsiddin, Tokhtasheva Dilnoza, Zakirova Shakhnoza, Mirnigmatov Shukrullo, Botirova Durdyugul, Mamatova Gulshoda, Rakhmatov Sherzod, Khairullaev Temur, Abduraimov Abdunabi, Kurbanov Nazar, Abdusalomov Jasurbek, Madrakhimova Aigul, Madaminov Sulaimon, Yuldashev Shohobiddin,  Dzhumaboeva Rano,  Akhmatova Asila, Olmas Nazhimov, Komila Umarova, Dilshod Ubaydullaeva, Feruza Takhirova, Abdulbasid Makhmudov, Obidzhon Dadamirzaev, Sabina Khalikova and Gulnoza Bakhromova.

   The purpose of organizing the event is to determine the level of readiness of undergraduates for the international exam, which will be held at the university in  near future and to develop mechanisms in terms of helping and  developing language skills of Master students.
