A joint meeting was organized with the members of “Pumping Stations and Hydroelectric Power Plants” Department, “TIIAME” National Research University and China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR).  The Head of the department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Bazarov D.R. gave brief information about our university and its role in training highly qualified personnel in the republic. He noted that the university, together with foreign universities is carrying out large-scale work to introduce educational programs and attract foreign qualiied specialists to the educational process.    

   As part of the conversation, it is planned to attract qualified specialists to obtain scientifically based solutions to the problems of operating pumping stations and hydraulic structures of hydroelectric power plants in conditions of water shortage in the region, studying the environmental problems of the Aral Sea basin and their elimination, and conducting joint research work on the development of hydropower.
