On November 16, 2023, within the framework of the project “Creation of an integrated educational system of national spatial data infrastructure in Uzbekistan”, implemented jointly with the Cadastral Agency under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Land Resources, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea, Korean Delegation made a visit to “TIIAME” National Research University. The meeting was organized by the representatives of “Land Resources and Cadastre” Faculty. In this project, LX was chosen as the general contractor, and two  private companies are participating in this project as official partners.

   The goal of the project is to develop a master plan for advanced training of personnel in this area, as well as the transfer of modern technologies. During the meeting, the representatives of the delegation received answers to their questions about the admission processes, curricula and employment of graduates in the areas of “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” and “Earth Remote Sensing”. They visited modern laboratory facilities, including the joint research center “Geoinformatics”, equipped within the funding of International projects. During the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a curriculum and training materials to improve the skills of personnel in this area.
