It is reported that the sixteenth summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will be held in Tashkent on November 8-9, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event will be attended by heads of state and government of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey. In accordance with the agenda, the issues of further expansion of trade, economic, investment, transport, communications and humanitarian cooperation, and improvement of the activities of this multilateral structure will be considered within the OIC. As part of the summit program, the leader of Uzbekistan plans to hold a number of bilateral meetings. Leaders of the business sector of the member countries have already gathered in Tashkent. The 16th Economic Cooperation Organization Leaders' Summit has begun. As part of the conference, the fifth business meeting of the structure is being held in our capital.
