It is imporatnt to suggest that on August 21-27, 2023, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh  Green Association, USAID in Central Asia and Kazakh-German University organized a scientific and educational trip for young researchers, titled "Renewable Energy trip- 2023". Sardorbek Khoshimov, Associate Professor of the Department of “Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics” Department took part in the trip. The purpose of the scientific and educational trip is the transition to green energy and the prospects for the development of renewable energy sources in Central Asia, existing problems in Central Asia.

   During the trip, the participants visited a hydroelectric power station (HPS), a thermal power plant (TPP), a solar power plant and a wind power plant of the Republic of Kazakhstan, located in the cities of Almaty. More than 20 young researchers from Central Asian countries took an active part on round table discussions on the transition to green energy and the prospects for the development of renewable energy sources.
