Spartakiada in summer: real fun time
Undeniably, every season is beautiful in its own way, and this summer was a special with the enjoyment of sports competitions. It must be mentioned that on August 14-20, 2023 there was organized "Memory Tournir-2023" at university, dedicated to the memory of our esteemed teacher Uktam Pardaevich Umurzakov, where teams from faculties and staff of our university took part. It is important to suggest that an enormous efforts of university rector and Trade Union Committee in supporting the winners.Before awarding the winners on the basis of the results of the competition, the rector Mirzaev Bakhodir Suyunovich warmly congratulated all participants of the sports contest, which took place on the eve of the 32nd anniversary of our country's independence. The rector of university also suggested that the competitions of Spartakiada will be held once a year in summer season, not in winter. Then, based on the results, the team of vice-rectors and deans, headed by the rector, started the process of awarding prizes, medals and certificates of honor to the winners. The following results were announced:
Basketball (women's team) the winners were determined as follows;

The 2nd place was taken by the thermal group of the “Cadastre of Land resources” Faculty.
The 3rd place was won by the thermal team of administration.

The 1st place was taken by the thermal group of “Hydrotechnical Construction” Faculty
The 2nd place was taken by the Rector’s team.
The 3rd place was taken by the thermal group of Faculty of “Science and Technology” Faculty.
Table tennis (women's team)
The 1st place was given to Khatamkulova Kh.
The 2nd place was awarded to Djamalova G.
The 3rd place was given to Azizova N.
Chess (women's team)
Temirova Z., from the rector's team received the 1st place.
Ziyaeva Sh., from “Economics” Faculty received the 2nd place
Abdullaeva Oliyalar from “Science and Technology” Faculty, received the 3rd place.

The 2nd place was taken by the team of Eshchanov Zhavlon, “Hydromelioration” Faculty.
The 3rd place was taken by the team of Khikmatullaev S from “Cadastre of Land Resources” Faculty.
