It is known to everyone that science and innovation have become a priority area of strategic importance in the development of New Uzbekistan. As the president of Uzbekistan stated, the leading Higher Educational Institutions of our country should act as major scientific centers. The task of the Higher Education System is not only to educate students, but also conducting consistent scientific activities, involving young researchers into science and implementing large-scale projects, investigating the effective ways of using water-saving technologies and providing necessary recommendations, taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of regions and water resources.

   From July 20-25, the professors, doctoral students and independent researchers of “Hydraulics and Hydro informatics” Department visited  Ferghana Valley.During the trip to Fergana and Andijan regions, in order to give science-based conclusions, the drip irrigation technologies installed by the Chinese company were studied in the farm, located in Torakurgan district of Namangan region. It must be mentioned that the technology set in Chinese style has been revised.

    With the aim of installing the study of current state of drip irrigation technologies used in agricultural fields of valley areas, the ways of using drip irrigation, together with professors and teachers of the department, doctoral students, independent researchers and workers working in the water sector in the regions, opinions were exchanged and recommendations were made on effective use of drilling technologies, organization of control of installed measuring instruments, hydraulic calculations of these technologies.
