Let us pay attention to the additional tasks set by the President to improve the supply of the city of Tashkent with energy resources. It was noted that it is necessary to launch projects to generate 400 million kilowatt-hours of electricity through the installation of solar panels in industrial areas and large enterprises. The installation of solar panels is an important factor in the use and saving of electricity. In fact, it costs a lot. But all this is done for the needs of the people, so it was recommended not to be afraid of any expenses. The issue of reducing electricity losses at industrial enterprises of the capital by 1% and increasing energy efficiency by 3% was also raised.

The issue of building a solar power plant with a capacity of 500 megawatts in the Yukorichirchik district was put on the agenda. Instructions were given to reduce electricity losses at industrial enterprises and to completely upgrade the internal heating system of 1,817 apartment buildings. A task was set on the importance of modernizing 300 kilometers of main heating networks and reducing losses by 5%. In total, the city will allocate $1 billion to the introduction of renewable energy.
