Traditionally, during the winter holidays, the university holds a sports competition among the faculty and staff. From January 4 to January 9, 2023, under the motto "Let's start the new year with sport", Competitions for the Rector's Cup-2023 were held. Today, in the sports hall of our university, the awarding ceremony was held for the participants of the competition. Teams of faculties and administration lined up in one row. The word for congratulation the participants was given to the rector of our university, Professor Mirzaev Bakhodir Suyunovich. The rector warmly congratulated everyone on the first public performance of the team at the beginning of the new year, with participation in sports competitions and victories.

   There is no doubt that these competitions will give everyone a special high spirits and motivation until the end of the academic year. He noted that it is advisable to hold such competitions not only once a year, but twice: in winter and summer. The competitions, which are held in summer, are dedicated to the memory of Umurzakov Uktam Pardaevich, they are traditionally held from August 14 to 20 per year. Then Vice-Rector Choriyev Ruzimurat Kungratovich congratulated all participants and then announced the results of the competition.
