Major reforms are being carried out in our country in the field of energy, which is considered as one of the important sectors of the economy that ensures environmental safety, environmental protection, and rational use of natural resources. In particular, in the field of energy, comprehensive measures are being implemented to use renewable energy sources and introduce energy-saving technologies, and certain results are being achieved. The development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 defines important tasks for “increasing the share of renewable energy sources in Uzbekistan in the near ten years by more than 3 times through the widespread introduction of “Green” technologies and the implementation of projects in the field of “green energy”. Of particular importance in solving these problems is the role of an educated and qualified specialist, working in the field of renewable energy sources.  It is known taht the Department of "Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources" trains personnel in the specialty "Alternative Energy Sources". In particular, on November 25, 2022, under the guidance of the Department Professor Obid Tursunov, a 2nd year master student of   "Alternative Energy Sources" specialty, Ganisher Mustafoev tested a wind power plant during practical research. The results of experimental tests are calculated on the basis of existing formulas and the possibilities of using wind energy are determined. At present, the experimental work is being continued by the staff of the department. In conclusion, we can say that such practical exercises are of great importance in the preparation of qualified specialists in any field.
