The 33-anniversasy of mother-tongue is celebrated widely in our country as a big holiday. It is true that 33 years have passed since the Uzbek language was given the status of the state language. The native language is the spiritual wealth of the nation. The native language is a symbol of the unity and solidarity of the nation. In this regard, on October 19, a literary and artistic open lesson was held with students with the Russian language groups 111 and 109 of Faculty “Organization and Management of Water Resources” of the National Research University "TIIAME".

On October 21, 1989, the Law "On the state language of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted. The Uzbek language was given the status of the "state language". Representatives of more than 130 nationalities and peoples live in our country. Today's holiday is a favorite holiday not only of the Uzbek people, but also of the fraternal peoples living on this land.
