Today, on October 14, in the magnificent Palace of Culture of our university, in cooperation with "Krakow University of Technology" of Poland, "Karabuk" the University of Turkey, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, Research Institute of Forestry and Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute was held the opening ceremony of the "3rd International Conference on Energetics, Civil and Agricultural Engineering".

The main objectives of this Conference are the following:

• Discussion of current issues related to energy, construction, and agriculture;
• Collaborative study of developing technologies and scientific conclusions;
• Bringing together scientists, researchers, engineers, students, and professionals from different fields;
• Strengthening cooperation with prestigious foreign universities in training highly qualified and competitive specialists.

In addition, all scientific articles discussed during the conference will be published in prestigious scientific and technical journals listed in Scopus and Web of Science international databases. The  Rector of our University, prof. B.S. Mirzayev  opened the conference with his introductory speech and he wished all the participants good luck in their further scientific research. After that, the director of the Research Institute of Forestry, prof. A.K. Khamzayev, Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute prof. A.Q. Usmankulov, Academician of the Institute of Energy Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan prof. R.A. Zakhidov, vice-rector of Karabuk University of Turkey prof. Izzet Achar, the director of the Virginia Institute of Technology for Advanced Studies, USA, prof. Saifur Rahmans expressed their wishes and congratulatory words to the participants of the conference.

In addition, honored guests of the opening ceremony from Aalborg University of Denmark, prof. Josep M. Guerrero and professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. Mohammad Shahidehpour participated with their speech online through the Zoom platform. The opening ceremony of the conference was covered directly live in the media. After the opening ceremony, the University organized lunch for all guests and conference participants in the canteen. The second part of the conference was organized online through the Zoom platform. The second day of the conference will be held in sections on the Zoom platform on October 15.
