Launching Monitoring equipment

The equipment brought by partners in the project "Air Quality Knowledge Center of Central Asian Universities", implemented at the Department of "Tractors and Automobiles" as part of UniCEN program that supports the interaction between universities in the United States and Central Asia, was installed near the laboratory V-building  with the participation of students. By the usage of one of these devices, the continuous monitoring of particles smaller than 10 and 2.5 microns in atmospheric air is carried out and the obtained data is transmitted for online monitoring.

For obtaining some information about the sources of origin of the above fine particles, other passive equipment with a special filter is used. As part of the project, it is also planned to organize an online seminar for students in September.
