Summing up the results of the first day of the First Bioeconomic Forum

Topical issues such as "Transformation of the economy from a sectoral approach to a bioeconomy", "Roadmap for the development of biotechnology in Uzbekistan and the role of bioeconomics in its implementation", "What is the benefit of bringing bioeconomy to Uzbekistan?" were reported in the forum. There were held discussions on "Plant and Animal Sources Agriculture, Forestry", "Food Processing", "Biological Waste Management", and "Bioenergy, including Energy". "Forestry" divided into 4 sectors.

At the end of the first day, there were organized visits to the production enterprise "Agromir" and observed the established production process, types of products and conditions created for workers. The forum was organized by the BioEcUz consortium funded by the European Union's ERASMUS + program under the auspices of the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technology under the project № 619294-EPP-1- 2020-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
