On April 21 Alisher Fatkhullayev, Dean of the Faculty of Hydromeliorfation, together with master students of "Hydraulics and Engineering Hydrology" visited the experimental site in Orta Chirchik district of the Tashkent region.

In order to ensure the efficient use of water resources, our country has received sprinkler irrigation equipment from the US company "Lindsay". It is also placed in "Center pivot" in the educational and research center of our University. The purpose of this is to organize the practice for young professors, doctoral students, masters, and students according to the standard of modern requirements. At present, the process of growing crops on 7.2 hectares, including 3.6 hectares of cotton, 1.8 hectares of grain, and 1.8 hectares of corn has begun in the educational and scientific center of our University. During the application of sprinkler irrigation, the necessary moisture is created in the active layer of the plant as a result of water supply, depending on the demand of the crop. As a result, the balance of water, air, nutrients, and salt regime required for the plant is maintained. It increases the relative humidity in the surface layer of air. As a result of the increase in relative humidity, the water is evenly distributed throughout the field, and there is no need to build irrigation canals, or ditches. The sources of sprinkler irrigation technology are rivers, canals, freshwater wells, and it has the ability to irrigate 190 hectares of land overnight during the operation of electricity. The main purpose of the visit was to fix and test the sprinklers, taking into account the hydraulic calculations.
