In accordance with paragraph 3 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 18, 20 No. 30 "On measures to develop the activities of the Fund for Support of Talented Youth "Ulugbek", from 2022 it is annually held the district (city) and regional stages of the Republican contest "Descendants of Mirzo Ulugbek", aimed at discovering and supporting talented young people.

Umarov Behruz, one of the talented students of “Mechatronics and Robotics” faculty of “Agricultural and Water Energy Supply” faculty of “TIIAME” National Research University, took part in the Republican contest of "descendants of Mirzo Ulugbek" on March 24, 2013. He succeeded to become the winner of the 1st stage and received a ticket to the regional stage by taking part in research work under the guidance of the base doctoral student Almardon Mustafakulov.

Behruzbek took part in the Republican contest, which was held on April 15, and was included in the list of winners among about 65 participants and received a ticket to the third stage.

We sincerely congratulate this student on his achievements. We wish him success and good luck, in the belief that he will take a worthy place in the next stage.
