It is important to suggest that for the socio-economic development of our society, one of the key issues is to expand the participation of industries and sectors of  economy in improving the quality of higher education, including the implementation of reforms for integrating science and industry into the development of hydropower. With this in mind, the Department "Operation of HPP and pumping stations" and UE "Cascade of Chirchik HPPs" in 2019, as part of cooperation to ensure the strong integration of science, education and industry  in the development of hydropower based on the 5 + 1 system, Chirchik HPP has a branch of Department "Use of hydropower and pumping stations”. The branch trains students in the specialties "Hydropower facilities in irrigation systems" and "Construction and operation of hydroelectric power plants." This process is effective in preparation of qualified personnel. On behalf of the leadership of our university, we express our gratitude to the director of the UE "Cascade of the Chirchik HPPs" Shadmanov A.A. and the team of  cascade for  active working in this direction. We believe that the contribution of such specialties will be very beneficial for developing service  in the field of hydropower in our country.
