On February 21-24, the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality Education (SISQE) hosted an international training seminar on the external evaluation of higher education institutions. Participants of the international project of  World Bank Development Association in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including representatives of “TIIAME” National Research University. The event started began with a presentation by Nora Skaburskiene, Research Director of Vilnius Technical University, where she explained the role of experts and coordinators in Self-Evaluation Report (SER) writing.

In the second part of the day, the participants were divided into small groups to discuss the analysis of self-evaluation report. The comments were analyzed in detail by Nora Skaburskiene, and Achim Hopbach, an international consultant on higher education, who provided the necessary recommendations and comments. In conclusion, the participants noted the positive impact of such trainings on the quality and efficiency of higher education institutions, as well as the need for regular cooperation in this area.
