Alisher Navoi is the founder of literature in the Turkic world. His contribution to the development of Uzbek literary language is huge. He is considered to be the unique one of its time as one could write  so much in this language before him. Navoi is the greatest poet of all Turkic people. It is known that the great poet lived in Khorasan. From ancient times  Khorasan and Movarounnahr were considered as one country under the rule of one throne, and the Turkic people illustrated as the main population.

       Events dedicated to the poet's birthday are held in various educational institutions of the country. The event devoted to the 581th anniversary of a great poet Alisher Navoiwas organized at “TIIAME” National Research University. At the event participated Prof.R. Choriyev, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual activities, R. Dzhumaniyozov, Head of the University Press Service, PhD. Sh. Narbaev, Dean of the Faculty of “Land Management”, H. Eshova,  deputy dean, tutor of the faculty and also professor-teachers of the faculty. The students and guests of our event were Associate Professor of  Tashkent Institute of Oriental Studies, Navoi scholar-Shakhnoza Askarova. At the educational event, organized by “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University, students read samples from Navoi’s gazelles and rubais. The event was so supportive that all participants were pleased by hearing performances from the great poets work.
