“Corruption can have no place in education”

On February 3 of this year, an online roundtable discussion “Corruption can have no place in education” was held with the youth leaders and group leaders of our University. R.Choriyev, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the University, A.Tulaboyev, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, A.Gapparov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Department, U. Muratova, Legal Adviser and the primary organization of the University Youth Union leader Rasulov attended the event. The first vice-rector of the university R.Choriyev opened the event. He noted that the university is currently taking drastic measures against corruption and that every professor, teacher, and student is paying special attention to it, and acknowledged that it is possible to hold more events in this regard, face to face with the transition to traditional lessons.

Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis A.Tulabaev shared his views on how to prevent corruption in the country. He stressed that corruption is an unforgivable act, especially in education. He cited a number of articles of legislation on corruption. A.Gapparov, the head of the anti-corruption department of the "Compliance Control" system, spoke in detail about the work being done at our university in this regard. He stressed that our goal is to prevent corruption. He reiterated that every student will never face negative consequences if he or she fulfills his or her civic and student duties wholely. He informed about the activities of the "Youth Club" under the Department of "Compliance Control", which will soon be established at our university. The press secretary of our university, R.Jumaniyazov, spoke about those who were deeply regretful after committing corruption in their work. He gave an in-depth explanation of the roots of corruption in general. During the moderation of the roundtable, Davron Rasulov, the head of the primary organization of the University Youth Union, stressed that students need to have good knowledge in order to become good professionals in the future and work in advanced enterprises. The roundtable was interesting and engaging.
