The participants of the fundamental grant N. FZ-202010071 of  “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University   on the topic “Development of a scientific basis for increasing population incomes by creating the effective system for growing and selling walnuts in Togoldinsky district” (grant director, associate professor I. Yunusov, senior researcher employee Sadullaev U.K., Ph.D., Yakhyaev M.V., Ph.D., according to the order of the rector of the university, in order to fulfill the tasks defined in the grant in 2024, there was organized a visit  to nut farms, located in Jonboy, Okdarya district of Samarkand region and existing systemic problems in the region, walnut production technology, intensive walnut varieties, calculation of the cost of walnut production, economic feasibility of walnut farming and the role of infrastructure support in order to develop recommendations, where there was conducted the survey.
