Rector of “TIIAME” National Research University Prof.Bakhadir Mirzaev took part in the plenary session of “Engineering and Technical universities of Uzbekistan and Russia” Conference. A delegation of rectors of about 15 prestigious Engineering and Technical universities arrived at the conference  “Prospects for higher technical education in the conditions of scientific and technological progress”  which was headed by the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Dmitry Afanasyev.  

More than 35 rectors of Higher Educational Institutions, Heads of ministries and departments took part at the conference. In order to achieve sustainable development of the system regarding  training highly-qualified personnel, improving academic mobility in the most demanding areas and specialties in Russia, there were suggested certain proposals. At the conference, the issues of the labor market were discussed, it was also noted about the importance of implementation of interuniversity projects in the field of personnel training. A particular emphasis was given on expanding joint scientific and innovative research activities and professional development of professors and teachers. Rector Bakhadir Mirzaev made  a presentation regarding the experience of creating advanced engineering schools on Engineering and Technical areas of the two countries, about modern trends and approaches in the development of Technical education, and prospects for cooperation in the field of science and production.
