A meeting was held between professors and teachers of “Pumping Stations and Hydroelectric Power Plants” Department with Professor Kequan Yu of Tongji University (China), who is among the top 200 in the QS-Ranking database. During the meeting, the head of the department, Professor Dilshod Bazarov discussed the level of fundamental research conducted at university, the prospects for research into building materials used in hydraulic structures and coatings that reduce filtration in conditions of water shortage, as well as the fact that Professor Kequan Yu publishes scientific articles in more than 20 first-quarter journals during the year and appreciates that the scientific work has received more than 4,500 citations. Professor Kequan Yu, in turn, noted the increased performance of “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University in the international arena.
