It is not a secret that currently a special attention has been paid to the revival of the national sport of Kurash, the historical heritage of the Uzbek people, which has been revered as a symbol of courage, tolerance, nobility and honesty for centuries. Kurash has always been a symbol of nobility, courage and honesty, part of the national and cultural heritage of our people with a thousand-year history and priceless treasure. In order to create the necessary conditions for young people to demonstrate their abilities in the field of physical culture and sports, on December 17, 2021, the second initiative of five important initiatives put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held among the students of the National University. The 2nd year student of Faculty “Agricultural Mechanization” of “TIIAME” National Research  University,  Khamzaev Jamshid took the third place in the weight category up to 66 kg in the tournament for the Rector's Cup on  "Kurash" was awarded. We congratulate Jamshid with his victory!
