From March 3 to 8, 2024 the International Scientific Olympiad “OMUS-2024” among the students of Higher Educational Institutions was held in Ashgabat of the Republic of Turkmenistan. 84 university teams from around the world competed on “Higher Mathematics”. 4 students teams took part in the Olympiad under the leadership of A. Abdullaev, Associate Professor of “Higher Mathematics” Department of “TIIAME” National Research University”. Students of our university took an honorable 2nd place at the international Olympiad and won a silver medal. Our students gave an interview to the Youth Channel of Turkmenistan about the organization of the International Olympiad, the conditions for holding the competition and the conditions created. We congratulate the winners of the Scienctific Olympiad on their achievement and wish the team success in their future work.
