The LESLIE project of “Erasmus+ program” has begun its work
The opening of the LESLIE project of the Erasmus+ program took place on February 26-29 at Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. The rector of Polytechnic University of Valencia, José E. Capilla Roma welcomed all guests and wished success to the project activities in the future. All partners of the LESLIE project - University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy), University of Cyprus, Fergana Polytechnic University (Uzbekistan), “TIIAME” National Research University, Bukhara State University, International University of Agriculture, Bukhara Institute of Natural Resources Management and Kazakhstan National university.
The tasks within the LESLIE project are the followings:
Establishment of a center for sustainable land management in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, bringing together ministries, private enterprises, industry and stakeholders such as universities and research centers.
Collaborative development and implementation of a microcredit dataset on sustainable land management
Presentation of the latest and strict international standards at the undergraduate and graduate levels of universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Production of a set of didactic tools in digital format that can be integrated as auxiliary material into undergraduate and graduate educational programs.
Integrate all training materials into a single online platform for sustainable land management.
Develop a pilot future incubator for university students in 2030, incorporating new teaching methods to promote and disseminate sustainable land management.
