From November 15th to December 15th is declared "Fire Safety Month" in the country. As part of this month, DES staff jointly with relevant organizations regularly conduct various meetings, seminars, roundtables, and fire-tactical exercises and drills aimed at preventing occupational gas poisoning and other types of emergencies. In particular, at the initiative of the Faculty of MHW in cooperation with the Tashkent City Emergency Management, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers hosted an event on December 6. 

 During the event, Major Musabek Abdullayev, Inspector of the DES of Mirzo Ulugbek district, spoke about the prevention of fires and emergencies, procedures for dealing with fires, as well as poisoning from traces of gas, which pose a serious threat to life and health of citizens, gave detailed explanations on its negative consequences. The exploitation of primary fire extinguishers has also been demonstrated in practice. At the end of the event, the experts provided detailed answers to the questions of the audience on technical safety rules, civil protection, compliance with fire safety rules, and technical and tactical characteristics of special fire and rescue equipment and tools.
