According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated October 6, 2020,  PD-4851 "On measures for  further improving the education system in the field of information technology, the development and integration of scientific research with the IT industry",  November 30, 2021, a seminar for students was organized at the institute, interested in information technology. The dean of the Faculty “ Energy Supply of Agriculture and Water Resources” A. Isakov, Head of the Department of Information Technologies Z. Abdullaev and employee of the scientific department Z. Kholmatov, as well as representative of IT-Park M. Musurmankulova, who made a presentation on how to prepare projects developed at the Open Data Challenge hackathons and protect them.

Hackathon "Open Data Challenge" will be held from 3 to 5 December, 2021 in 4 directions: 1) public sector; 2) the social sector; 3) business sector; 4) anti-corruption sector.
