Recently, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a video conference to discuss measures to ensure youth employment and meaningful organization of their leisure time. The conference addressed the current challenges of implementing a new system for working with young people.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed the need to organize this work in two important directions. The first is to support youth entrepreneurship and provide them with jobs through vocational training, and the second is to organize meaningful leisure time for young people.

Under the Youth: 1 + 1 program, it was noted that it is necessary to connect boys and girls to entrepreneurs, develop their business skills, provide them with soft loans and help them start their own businesses. The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade was instructed to establish local youth industrial and business zones. The meeting identified priorities for addressing these issues in each district and city.

Today a fair "Welcome to Work" was organized at our university. The prosecutor of Mirzo Ulugbek district Pulatov Aliakbar Rakhimovich said that the President's ideas are related to the development strategy of the country. After that, the vice-rector of the university's  Ruzimurat Choriyev acknowledged that students can work according to their wishes, studies, and abilities without interfering with the academic system and that they should work today to be proud of their future careers.

The students consulted with officials from the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, "Uzkabel" JSC, "Sugurta" company.

There was immediately established a special group (https://t.me/+W8WzLanEadYxMWUy) for students with the desire to work to be able to receive information directly from the officials of the M.Ulugbek district employment center. According to the University Youth Channel, it is pleasant that 270 students have already joined the group.
