It is important to suggest that on January 14, 2022 there was organized  the webinar at “TIIAME” NRU within "Internal Quality Assurance" project by  the International Development Association of  World Bank.This project is being conducted by the the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the framework of the program "Modernization of Higher Education" as a  "Internal Quality Assurance" (Internal Quality) project. The seminar-training was organized via  Zoom platform with the international expert  Katja Zibert Kamsek, who was appointed as a coacher to the team within the framework of the project. At the seminar-training the project coordinator from “TIIAME” National research University, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs prof. B.Khudayarov and project participants Abduraupov R., Khodzhaev D., Eshchanova G., Kattakulov F., Ismailova Z., Nullaev U. and  Eshpulatov N. participated.

     It should be noted that till present, the representatives of 6 Higher Educational Institutions have been actively participating in different international seminar-trainings within the project and have established effective cooperation. Moreover, the stages included 8 modules, during which relevant specialists are appointed as instructors to each team of HEI. These days each university is implementing the tasks assigned to teams in its time in order to follow the project activities assigned to them by the experts.

    The goal of these seminars is to create new system of Internal Qquality Assurance by the end of 2022-2023, conducting intensive trainings for selected universities of Uzbekistan, the development and implementation of a new system, effective implementation of the coaching stage of selected universities. The project aims to support further the efforts and activities of participants in the preparation for the International Accreditation and improvement of Internal and External Quality Assurance at universities. Specialists are responsible for the goals of the coaching stage, methodology, preparing materials and  completing with relevant information.

The following activities are being done at our University:

- Formation of materials about responsible people and their activities in terms of maintaining and implementing the roadmap for Internal Quality Assurance at “TIIAME” NRU;

-Further improvement of tasks with Monitoring of Education Quality  and Internal Quality Control Departments in the improvement and implementation of the Roadmap for our University;

- Within the framework of the project certain coaches of the university  will help team to develop IQA system, as well as providing feedback on the data obtained as a result of the analysis, developing of cooperation with experts, following their comments and consultations, recommendations and practical advice on materials and documents;

- The Institute has achieved Academic Autonomy and Financial Autonomy, which provides the opportunity to approve independently study programs and apply the best practices from developed countries in the transition to credit-module system;

- Formation of specific educational plans for the employment of graduates of the university, as well as further development of cooperation with employers.

     We hope that by the end of 2023, the project will directly help to ensure and improve internal and external quality through the Modernization of Internal Quality Assurance system and implementing International Accreditation of “TIIAME” National Research University.
