Visiting manufacturing enterprises with the support of USAID
With the support of USAID, a field lesson was organized for the 3rd year students on the technology of storage and pre-processing of agricultural products, where students got acquainted with the production facilities and technological lines of winemaking. Additionally, students visited cold storage facilities created in manufacturing enterprises by getting acquainted with the technology for preparing grapes, apples, apricots and cherries for export. Specialists provided students with detailed information about modern methods of processing vegetables, fruits and technology for preparing for export. Importantly, the issue of organizing students practice at manufacturing enterprises was also discussed.
