For the development of the higher education system, the President signed a decree "On approval of the Concept for the development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030". It provides for the following:

- development of public-private partnerships in the field of higher education, increasing the level of enrollment in higher education by 50% based on the organization of the activities of state and non-state universities in the regions, creating a healthy competitive environment in the field;

- step-by-step transfer of the educational process in universities to a credit-modular system;

- the introduction of advanced standards of higher education, based on international experience, including a gradual transition from an educational system focused on obtaining theoretical knowledge in the curriculum to the formation of practical skills.

Our university is also working hard to improve the quality of education. In accordance with this, 1st year students of the Department of "Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources", accompanied by A. Davirov, conducted practical classes in the street lighting department of the Almazar district of the State Unitary Enterprise "TOSHSHAHARNUR". The students asked their questions and received enough answers from the staff member. The teachers also shared their opinions with the staff.
