On October 25, 2023 the first year students by the initiative of A. Shonazarov, tutor of “Hydromelioration” Faculty made a visit to the historical architectural monument - the Zangi-ota complex. One of the unique monuments of Central Asia, named after the medieval saint Sheikh Ai Khoja ibn Taj Khoja ibn Mansur, a preacher of Sufism, named Zangi-ota. From the history it is known that long ago the Mongol conquerors destroyed the largest cities and villages of Transoxiana, when ordinary workers were sent into slavery. The merits of Zangi-ota were duly rewarded by Amir Temur.
