It is important to suggest that the head of the UNESCO office in Uzbekistan Alexandros Makarigakis arrived at our institute for strengthening the cooperation between two organizations. The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Rector of the Institute, Prof. B.S. Mirzaev, Dean of the Faculty of Hydro-reclamation A. Fatkhullaev, Head of the International Cooperation Department Sh.Rakhmonov. The detailed information about the Institute was presented at the meeting, strategic directions of cooperation were determined. The ideas were put forward for organizing the international scientific symposium on the basis of TIIAME, organizing seminars for active participation in international scientific projects, increasing the potential of  teaching staff. After the meeting, water management laboratories were shown to the guest. At the end of the meeting  the guest was presented with gifts.
