Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan Zehavit Ben Hillel and MASHAV project coordinator Yulia Olkhovskaya visited our university. The rector, prof. V.Mirzaev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs B.Khudayarov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A.Salokhiddinov, Head of the Department "Tractors and Automobiles" M.Amonov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Sh.Rakhmonov, Head of the Department for Attracting Grant Funds of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade Bekzod Teshabaev, and chief specialist Haydarov Mirazim attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zehavit Ben Hillel discussed possible areas of cooperation with Israel. In particular, the issues of advanced training and internships for the teaching staff through the MAShAV program, and sending young people for doctoral studies were comprehensively studied.

In addition, the possibility of arranging a laboratory facility specializing in Israeli technologies on the territory of the university was also analyzed. It was recommended to sign memorandums of understanding with Israeli universities and establish comprehensive cooperation.

The meeting was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere. At the end of the meeting, she wrote wishes in the book of honored guests and received gifts.
