An event on the topic “Vigilance is the need of the hour” was organized for students of “Ecology and Law” Faculty. A. Abdusamatov, advisor to the rector for ensuring the stability of the socio-spiritual environment among students and A. Ubaydullaev, preventive inspector of the university took part in the event. They informed that in our country, a special attention is paid to educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland, respect for national and universal values, and protecting them from the influence of harmful ideas. The rapid development of today's mass communication technologies and the increasing number of young people among Internet users require each of us to be more vigilant. We can’t ignore the advantages and disadvantages of social media nowadays. If we take into account the events happening today in our country and in remote areas, then malicious forces are also trying to use the Internet for their own purposes and the negative consequences of certain efforts regarding propaganda of young people.
