Representatives from Keimyung College University of South Korea visited "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University on August 17.

Bakhtiyor Khudayarov, Head of the Department of "General Technical Sciences", Ph.D., Associate Professor Khasan Turkmenov, Head of the Department of "Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics", PhD, Associate Professor Rustam Baratov, Associate Professor of the "English Language" Department. Gozal Eshchanova and National Coordinator of Erasmus+ DSinGIS project Ilhom Abdurahmanov participated at the meeting.

  The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen bilateral relations to further increase efficiency in education through the introduction of planned international projects of cooperation. In particular, the latest information about the successful evaluation of the international project "Education competency enhancement project Mechatronics Technicum at "TIIAME" NationalResearch University" submitted by our university and Keimyung College University to the Ministry of Higher Education of Korea was successfully evaluated from the first stage and passed to the second stage. Prof., Ph.D. Sang Seog Lee delivered a presentation. The main goal is to train specialists in the fields of mechatronics and robotics, which are considered relevant in our country, by applying the best practices of Keimyung College University, by organizing the international "Mechatronics" technical school, which is expected to be established in the near future, and to provide them with a joint diploma.

    Also, they studied the necessities in the establishment of the "Digital Educational Innovation Service Center" at our university, and the center will provide various services for digital education and innovation, i.e., improvement of IT skills, start-up and development of business ideas, issues of gender equality, employment of women, aimed at supporting the social class by organizing training courses. We are confident that the reputation of our university will increase by improving such cooperation.
