It is known that books are considered as valuable presents that direct us the right path in life, by providing a source of happiness and giving the sense to our lives, by becoming a true friend that can accompany us in any situation. There is no such powerful tool as a book in the world that ensures the spiritual maturity of people. For this reason, at any time the leaders of enlightenment, people of knowledge, recommended all mankind to read books and comprehend the secrets of science and etiquette. It should be suggested that on April 19, 2022at “TIIAME” National Research University in accordance with the given instructions at the rector's meeting about the popularization of reading due to five important initiatives by the President of Uzbekistan.

On April 22, 2022 at “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” Department of “Resource Management Geoinformatics” Faculty, there was organized a competition of readers between the   3rd year students of 301 and 302 groups, devoted   to the disciplines of specialty. The winners were awarded memorable books. We understand well that reading helps everyone to widen the horizons and develop creative-thinking skills abilities. In a word, reading is the key to a great future.
