The merits of our state and government in increasing the role of women and girls in public life are worthy of praise. It is known that in recent year  aparticular attention is being paid to the context of Gender Equality in our country, which proves that the activities of women in all aspects are being increased.

     It is imporatnt to obtain education and professional skills, ensure the employment, support entrepreneurship and other initiatives especially for women and girls in all parts of the world.

     It isn’t a secret that a comprehensive state policy is being implemented to ensure a woman’s happy life, intellectual and spiritual growth, and the harmonious performance of the duties in professional, family and social life.

   One of such active university ladies, who is considered as a dedicated, patriotic and distinguished by intelligence, enthusiasm and knowledge, Professor, Head of the Department of  “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University since 2021is Sobirova Gulnoza. She studied at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (1995-1999) and received a diploma in the specialty of translator-referent (English).In 2002-2005 she completed a Master's degree on Linguistics (English).In 2005-2007 she worked as a teacher at “English language” department of Tashkent University of Information Technologies. In 2008-2014 she was a graduate student and senior researcher of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. In 2015-2017, she worked as a teacher at “English language” department of Tashkent University of Information Technologies. She was awarded  a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on Pedagogical sciences in 2017, a Doctor of Sciences (DSc) in 2022 and Professor diploma in 2022. In 2023, she was sent to the course organzied by Norwich Institute for Language Education( NILE) by university, where she got advanced qualifications .

 As the author of many articles, Gulnoza Sabirova is highly respected among our teaching staff. We sincerely congratulate her with the holiday. We wish her  strong health and llck in training and providing our country with knowledgeable and  intellectually capable personnel.
