A seminar training on "Prevention of harassment and violence against women and girls" was organized at the initiative of the Advisory Council on Women's Issues of the Faculty of Mechanization of Hydromeliorative Works". The event was held in cooperation with the deputy dean for youth affairs, professor teachers, and tutors. Major Abzal Rikhsiboyevich Ubaidullayev, the senior inspector of the university's center for legal promotion was invited to the seminar. The internal affairs officer discussed the content and importance of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Protection from Harassment and Violence against Women". Speaker noted the protection of women from harassment and violence in our country, as well as ensuring gender equality, the work of increasing the role of women in social and political life in several directions, in particular, it was noted that the legislation on women's rights and the institutional foundations of women's protection are being improved. At the end of the event, the participants asked questions about the issues they were interested in. It was agreed by the organizers of the event that such seminars and other promotional activities will be organized again in the future.
