A seminar-training for National Group of Experts in Belgium  

    On June 15-16, 2023 there was organized a seminar-training at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, one of the top 200 best universities in the world, with the participation of members of the National Group of Experts on Higher Education on the topic “Education and Training: Innovation, Digitalization and International Cooperation”. Ilhom Abdurakhmanov, Head of “Monitoring the International Ranking Activities” Department of University, Assistant of “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” Department took part in seminar-training as an expert of higher education at University of California at Louvain, as well as familiarize themselves with the science and technology library and training center.

 

The knowledge and skills gained in the training include:

1. Develop and understand the strategies, institutional policies that underpin innovation in education, training and exploring the potential different approaches.

2. Understanding how technological developments are used to create innovation at L&T.

3.Assess the role of various methods/institutional services (management, deans, learning development support services).

4. Exploring examples of innovation in teaching practice and a better understanding of the importance for teachers and students.

5. Reflection on how institutional collaboration can be used to promote L&T innovation.

    During the training, Ilkhom Abdurakhmanov met with Christel Weislet, Director of the International Relations Department of the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium (UCLouvain), and discussed the issues of establishing and implementing mutually beneficial cooperation. He also discussed the cooperation opportunities in different areas with the experts from Tunisia, Moldova, Jordan, Kosovo, Morocco, Algeria, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
