On May 20, 2023, within the framework of the project "Restoration of the Ecosystem of the Dry Bottom of the Aral Sea" (ERAS-II), 5 participants from Uzbekistan, including the Agency for Innovative Development, the International Innovation Center "Aral Bay" (Kazakhstan), Research Institute of Ecological and Environmental Technologies made a visit with the members of the Uzbek delegation from NRU "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers", headed by the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor L. Samiev. The delegation got acquainted with the living conditions of the population in the area, the existing problems, following the results of these meetings, specialists and experts gave the necessary proposals and recommendations to the Island Conservation Center.
