On February 26, 2024 a scientific and practical seminar on the topic “Data Science in Uzbekistan - prospects for the development of Data Science education” was held at Ulugbek Foundation for Support of Talented Youth. Chairman of the Foundation O. Salimov, head of the project “Successors of Mirzo Ulugbek” D. Saifurov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of of the Republic of Uzbekistan K. Sharipov, Minister of Digital Technologies Sh. Shermatov, as well as rectors of several HEIs and a number of participants attended the event. The seminar was attended by coordinators of international programs, representatives of the cyber club, and also management and professors of “TIIAME” National Research University. The current situation in the field, the experience of its study, the exchange of ideas in international cooperation and discussion of prospects were discussed during the event.
