It is important to suggest that from July 24-26, there was given a start to the "School of Young Scientist 2023", held at National Research University "TIIAME". The "School of the Young Scientist" includes lectures and practical activities relating Climate change and Water resources in Uzbekistan. Visitors from prestigious German universities and research centers, as well as guests from National University of Uzbekistan and the National Research University “TIIAME” will give lectures on the topic "Circulation and climate change, as well as the impact of climate warming on the country's water resources."

   The opening ceremony of the summer school for young scientists "School of Young Scientist 2023" was held on July 24 at National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers". At the opening ceremony, the rector of the National Research University”TIIAME” prof. Bakhodir Mirzaev, Director of the Agency for Innovative Development Olimjon Toychiev, Dr. Abror Gafurov from the German Center for Geosciences GFZ gave more information about the importance of rational use of water resources and the work being done in the mentioned spheres.At the event, Dr. Abror Gafurov presented the CLIMWATER project, and the participants were informed about the main goals and objectives of the project.

   On the first day of the summer school for young scientists, panel sessions were organized for participants on the topics “Water resources of Uzbekistan: needs and problems” and “Modeling the contribution of future water runoff to glacier-covered reservoirs”. It provided theoretical information on hydrology and the physical processes of water generation, as well as practical activities on the use of modern tools and modeling methods on water management in the era of climate change in Uzbekistan.
