It is known to everyone that a few weeks ago a number of teachers, doctoral and master students participated at the International exam, aimed at identifying the level of language skills .The exam was held at “TIIAME” National Research University, which was organized by British Council.

Undeniably, “Aptis for Teachers” is a variant of Aptis, which is designed specifically for the education sector -the test content is relevant to the experience, allowing to show the best performance and focus on the actual language during the test. 

On April 8, 2022 at the university  Certificate awarding ceremony was organized at the Professional Development Centre (British Council & “TIIAME”NRU) and it was held by the Vice-rector on Innovation and Research Prof. Tokhir Sultonov and dean of the “Land Resources Management” PhD, docent Sharof Norbayev. Pre-tests and Mock tests on Aptis and IELTS can support participants in  realize their strengths and weaknesses in terms of improving the integrated skills. The participants were from different faculties and they received different results.

In their speech, these leaders mentioned about the importance of knowing foreign language, active participation of professor-teachers in different international activities with the aim of developing English language skills, which can lead to the prospective future.

Among the participants they were candidates, who achieved C1, B2, B1 and A2 levels. The authority congratulated all participants and recommended to work constantly on improving the language.  

They also mentioned that at the University there is a chance for different discipline teachers to conduct their subjects in English language and receive extra payment for the International certificate C1. The participants also showed their interest in participating in IELTS exam as well. These kinds of exams can help the authority to send the teachers with high level to abroad for the internship in near future.
