It is known to everyone that World Environment Day, which is annually celebrated on June 5, 2024 as a major UN event promoting the environmental movement and the need to protect our planet. Since its first celebration in 1974, the event has become a global platform for informing society about the state of the environment. At the same time, a number of scientists and employees of the Ministry of Ecology of our country working in the field of ecology and conducting scientific work were invited by the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and climate change at the ceremony. A. Abdikhakimov was awarded the “Defender of Nature” badge. At this ceremony, the Doctor of Technical Sciences of “Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics” Department  of our university, the founder and scientific consultant of the “Hydroleaders” team, Samiev Lukman Naimovich was also awarded.
