The students of 114-group “Land Resources Management” and tutor D. Egamova made a visit to the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan. In the museum the students had an opportunity to see many animals, listed in the Red Book. In 1936 the museum was transformed into the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan. In total, the museum has 372,021 exhibits, including 10,496 exhibits on botany, 359,642 on zoology (including 355,045 insects) and 1,883 exhibits on geology. The museum also conducts research work on local history and museology. More than 50 thousand people visit the museum every year.
