Preservation of the national gene pool and ensuring the health of young people

 

  On May 31, 2022,  Dean of the Faculty B.B. Khasanov, while introducing the participants of the event, noted that in the regions of the republic there is a proportional increase in the consumption of tobacco products, alcoholic products and psychotropic substances among young people, as a result of which today there is an increase in delinquency and crime among young people, expressed opinions on the reasons for the low legal culture and legal awareness youth. He shared his life considerations regarding the fact that crimes related to the use of psychotropic substances are harmful vices for the development of society. The responsible officer of the Department of Justice of the Mirzoulugbek district A.M. Berdiyev informed the students about the distribution and restriction of tobacco products, about the various restrictions imposed by the state on the production and sale of tobacco products, as well as about the cultivation and consumption of these products around the world, about its negative consequences for of human health. Director of the Educational-methodical and research center of the Central Council , Ph.D. in political science, N. Abulhasan told the students about the negative consequences of tobacco and drug use for human health, about how many people die in the world per year, according to statistics , as a result of the use of these products, about how many children are born with disabilities and how many people fall ill. youth crimes related to the consumption and sale of psychotropic substances, with a high danger of psychotropic substances for human health and life, with a high danger to the family and society. He explained to young people the essence of the punishments established by the criminal legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan for crimes related to the consumption, sale and distribution of psychotropic substances, and the inevitability of punishment.The event was held in high spirits, during the speeches the students received exhaustive answers to their questions.
