On November 1-2, 2023, the 85^th- meeting of the Interstate Coordination Water Commission was held in Tashkent. The meeting was attended by delegations from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, heads of the basin water management associations “Amu Darya” and “Syr Darya”, which are the executive bodies of the commission, as well as the Secretariat and the Scientific Information Center. The event was attended by the talented first and fourth year students of “Hydromelioration” Faculty of our university. Ismail Jurabekov held a personal dialogue with the 1st year students. At the beginning of the event, the members of the Interstate Coordination Water Commission, Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Khamraev, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nurzhigitov, First Deputy Minister of Energy and Water resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Zh. Shoimzoda, Chairman of the Water Resources Committee of Turkmenistan D. Genjiev also took part.
